Excellent Reality Show Idea

This is the kind of reality show I can get into (unlike Mommy Swap):
The [FOX] network is set to announce "Secret Millionaire," a new series from RDF USA in which wealthy benefactors go undercover in impoverished neighborhoods. For about 10 days, a multimillionaire meets financially destitute locals and experiences what it's like to live on a meager budget for the first time in their lives. At the show's conclusion, the millionaire reveals his true identity to the community and gives a minimum of $100,000 of his own money to at least one deserving person.

"How often do we see somebody who's homeless on the street and wonder what it would be like to live like that?" Fox president of alternative entertainment Mike Darnell asked. "Whereas the superwealthy are so detached from that experience. This is a really clever conceit and has a great emotional arc to it."There's drama, secrecy, class/social issues - everything good drama requires. Temptation Island only offers T n A (which wouldn't be so bad, but they only show women; what about us who like D n A???).

No depcition of Ron Paul. Probably because Aryan sympathies aren't found among gamers. They're too busy worrying about dragons and orcs to be concerned with blacks and Jews.

Someone has to blow the cobwebs off of this site for crying out loud, so here's some fun trivia:

Consider:

The Democrats are complaining about how long the war is taking, but...

It took less time to take Iraq than it took Janet Reno to take the Branch Davidian compound. That was a 51-day operation.

We've been looking for evidence for chemical weapons in Iraq for less time than it took Hillary Clinton to find the Rose Law Firm billing records.

It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the Marines to destroy the Medina Republican Guard than it took Ted Kennedy to call the police after his Oldsmobile sank at Chappaquiddick.

I am going to order my McCain poster, but I am looking for the one with Uncle Sam saying, "Shut up and vote McCain." Does anyone know where I can get that yard sign? Anyway, Sowell hits the nail on the head:
Senator John McCain could never convince me to vote for him. Only Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama can cause me to vote for McCain.

The persistent weakness of American liberalism is its fixation with rights and procedures at any cost to efficiency and common sense.

You should read Jonathan Chait's entire piece here, but I thought that line summed up things rather well.
