Molly Ivins Dies

We are losing too many people to cancer. Breast cancer is such a terrible disease that women (and some men) face.

Molly Ivins was about as left-wing as they come, but I still read her columns filled with flowery language and starry-eyed pursuit of that left-wing feeling of "hope" whether it was the "Man from Hope" or the "Audacity of Hope."

I will miss reading her columns; some made me laugh out loud.

Our prayers should go out to her family.

Women, you can honor her by doing your monthly exam. Men, you can do the same by offering to do it to women you know.
