Hustlers Skate; Teacher Indicted

I've said MANY times on this site (particularly during the Mark Foley scandal) that there is a very large difference between being a pedophile (attracted to prepubescent children) and being attracted to post pubescent young adults.

I knew people in high school who shaved daily. At 30, I still don't have to do that!

So two gay HS baseball players would have sex in front of a camera for their coach for money - as well as telling him about their sexual escapades...for money.

He also took non-official "trips" with the boys where they likely spent most of the time messing around (something the Democrats applaud, by the way).

Anyway, the teacher abused his position and should be fired and charged with a misdemeanor. However, if the teen guys took money for sexual exploitation, then they should both be charged with prostitution.

It will remain sealed, of course, but I am tired of these little hustler brats getting off because they are 17 and not 18.

I personally like much older guys, so I am never going to suffer through anything like this...BUT, what if I were out in HS? What if I were to date the 30yo assistant coach or a 24yo teacher because they were the ONLY OTHER gay person I knew of in a small town?

Both parties did wrong, but the boys were playa's and need to be booted from the baseball team and expelled from school for having sex on school grounds.

The reason people believe the boys must have been forced is because, well, the guy must be ugly...

Although, this tiny picture doesn't show much. He could be all ripped and cut below the neck. Anyway...

Senator Clinton Campaign Hostage Crisis

I just got up two hours ago (called in sick today; I am not feeling hot at all)...

Anyway, it looks like this was the news all day. This must be a difficult time for Senator Clinton; I am sure she feels personally responsible for the safety of her campaign workers.

We should pray for her and the one still left inside. I take comfort in knowing the person suffers from mental illness - and that this is NOT the state of politics in the US.

5% GDP Growth this Summer!  Blowing all Expectations!

And the media will still talk recession. How can you CREDIBLY talk about a looming recession with GDP growth at 5% a quarter. Granted, the economy will slow down, but a recession is negative growth and there is absolutely NO WAY that will happen any time in the next 18 months. So why bring it up at all during the election?

To create fear.
Rush will be all over this today.

But, to the American worker...THANK YOU! JOB WELL DONE!

CNN Scammed by Democrats?  Or Accomplices?

UPDATE! IMPORTANT!

Turns out that not one but FOUR of the questions asked last night were from Obama, Clinton and Edwards campaign staff or supporters. That is four questions actual Republican supporters could not ask. This is a VERY big deal and could spark a fire that, if played right, the Republicans can use to convince the public about the truth of left-wing bias and political relationships with the Democrats.

I said in an email to fellow bloggers earlier that I actually found the debate watchable; I stated:
I just finished watching the CNN YouTube debate. I saw the Drudge thing about CNN being suckered, but all in all, I think this debate went off rather well and the questions were not stupid like during the Democrat debate.

And the contrast between the two parties in terms of substance is remarkable. When Governor Christ (who I think is gay) introduced all the contestants, it was a wealth of experience.

Ron Paul sounded good too when he answered the North American Union question (i.e. he didn’t sound crazy at all) – but then went into this whole stupid blame America for 9-11 thing.

THE ONE THING that bothered me was the total failure of any of the candidates to either forcefully make a case for why gays should not be allowed to serve or why they should. It was an insult to that General not to get a straight answer and ROMNEY made me SICK.

Being gay, I say let the fags fight. Gay people have just as much to lose during attacks like on 9/11. Scott Beamer from flight 97 was gay and lead the first victory in the war on terror.

Just say I am going to allow gays in, but EVERYONE is now on notice about their conduct. Any men talking about their str8 sexual conquests or caught fornicating, committing adultery, etc. will be booted out even faster.

Unit cohesion is not based on men’s ability to talk about porn.
Well, now we find out that the general was a plant from the Hillary campaign. AC360 apologized:

I don't believe CNN did this on purpose because, in a time of war, it is a very valid question and does not excuse the horrible answers by the candidates.

Blogging the Republican CNN/U Tube debate

With the temperature dropping down into the single digits this week, my haitus is over and I'm back to watching television. Watch for my Prison Break post later this week. In the meantime, here's some highlights from tonight's debate. It's long, so click the link to read it.

How Stupid is Lou Dobbs of CNN?

This man has his own TV show on a major cable news network, okay? So forgive me for being shocked to hear him assert that "no one is advocating deporting all illegal immigrants" from the United States a few minutes ago.

Now I Am about Where Pat Robertson Was - Assassinate Hugo Chavez

He's just a fat, sloppy dictator out to destroy America. He's stated it and he's collaborating with our terrorist enemies. He said anyone that did not vote for him was a "traitor" and that his referendums cannot fail.

Let him steal the election on Sunday, and when his fat ass comes out to declare victory, drop a 2000lb bomb on him and his house; then swing by Castro's place on the way back.

Redskins Lose a Star - Sean Taylor RIP

I remember seeing he was shot yesterday, but I had no idea that he died until I got off the phone with my father just now.

Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor died early Tuesday, a day after he was shot at home. He was 24.

Family friend Richard Sharpstein said Taylor's father told him the news around 5:30 a.m.

"His father called and said he was with Christ and he cried and thanked me," said Sharpstein, Taylor's former lawyer. "It's a tremendously sad and unnecessary event. He was a wonderful, humble, talented young man, and had a huge life in front of him. Obviously God had other plans."
Indeed, He did.

Tree Man

This is no joke or fake photo, folks.

They are actually warts that grow out of control. But in this picture it actually looks like he has leaves growing out of his leg! Or do you think that might be a plant beside him?

The article has videos you can watch. It is very sad.

Iraq Running into US Arms, NOT Iran

Another leftwing mantra exposed as a lie - that the invasion of Iraq would cause Iraq to embrace Iran.

Iraq moves to form bilateral agreement on permanent troop presence in return for exclusive business rights.
Iraq's government, seeking protection against foreign threats and internal coups, will offer the U.S. a long-term troop presence in Iraq in return for U.S. security guarantees as part of a strategic partnership, two Iraqi officials said Monday....

...The two Iraqi officials, who are from two different political parties, spoke on condition of anonymity because the subject is sensitive. Members of parliament were briefed on the plan during a three-hour closed-door meeting Sunday, during which lawmakers loyal to radical cleric Muqtada al-Sadr objected to the formula.

Preferential treatment for U.S. investors could provide a huge windfall if Iraq can achieve enough stability to exploit its vast oil resources. Such a deal would also enable the United States to maintain leverage against Iranian expansion at a time of growing fears about Tehran's nuclear aspirations.
And what if Iraq were to even sign a peace accord and open diplomatic relations with Israel to boot?

Sounds like we have an ally even greater than Saudi Arabia or Egypt - and can no longer be criticized for supporting despotic regimes when there's a democracy wanting our friendship.

Keith Olbermann's head will explode!

Why Are People Afraid Of “Merry Christmas?”

Look, if you knew me, and you could tell I'm not a Christian, and you said "Merry Christmas," I could have cause to be offended. But if we're talking about a message broadcast to the general public (who in this country, the last time I checked, were Christians), or a message that a store clerk is supposed to deliver robotically to every person in the store, well, whoopty-do.

And for that matter, if a store is in a mixed meighborhood and figures the safest average to keep everyone happy is to say "Happy Holidays," well, also, whoopty-do.

I don't get why some people go nuts over this, declaring that they won't say Merry Christmas or that they absolutely will. The way I figure it, if you don't know someone's religious predilictions, simple manners dictate that you either say something neutral (like Happy Holidays) or you stick with the law of averages (and say Merry Christmas in places where the law of averages dictate that your probability of speaking to a Christian when you greet a random person is high). If you do know someone's religious predilictions, then simple manners dictates that you say something appropriate.

(Here I will mention, appropo of something, that I found out that there's a section of Christianity from Greece that has a slightly different calendar calculation, and they vehemently disagree with Christmas being in December. I got a gentle lecture about it from one fellow.)

However, all manners aside, all questions of what is the best marketing strategy for a store with shoppers of all kinds aside, and all asides to the aside (the preceding phrase was either plagarized from an episode of the Muppet Show, or it should have been), I've noticed something.

There are some people that go totally bug-nuts when someone says Merry Christmas to them. Or even within earshot of them.

I don't mean like if you would say Merry Christmas to a woman in a Burqa, or a man with a Hassidic robe, hat, and peyot, cases where its really obvious up front that you're dealing with someone who isn't a Christian. That's called being obnoxious. I mean when someone says it generally to the average member of the public. There are people who go WHACKO when they hear it. Even if it isn't said to them.

Folks, take it from me, a member of a religious minority who doesn't celebrate Christmas. Calm. Down. It's just a phrase.

Let everyone who wants to enjoy their holiday do so. Chill out.

(And durnit, there had better not be any raindeer poop on my roof again this year!)

It’s Going to Be too Easy

This grand strategy with the DNC and Media Matters failed. The Republicans need to base part of their political platform to take on the media vigorously (shout out to Guliani).

This is really priceless. CNN (the Clinton News Network and Suzanne Malvaeux conspired to use plants at the last election).
