Just remember this:

Pointing out indisputable, factual truths about a Democrat's history and/or political positions = disgusting, negative campaigning

Making up crap out of thin air to smear Republicans = Front page news where any facts that might defend the accused Republican are ignored and/or buried

I bet as soon as the ads take effect, we get whining about the negativity.

The difference between Webb and allen is that Webb has apologized for his attitude from 20 years ago, and allen has tried to deny his. And Webb, by his current actions has shown that he's completely changed from then. allen, on the other hand, has shown that he hasn't. It's pretty interesting, going through all the posts of late, here, to see the extent to which you are reduced to the "neener neener" approach to civics. Your answer to all the bad news from your idols is to say yeah but look at the Democrats from 20 years ago. I'm starting to feel sorry for you. But, of course, that's what we liberals do.
