Oh, Please!
Brad Pitt uses his unwed state to shill for gay marriage...at least that's what I get out of the following:
Brad Pitt, ever the social activist, says he won't be marrying Angelina Jolie until the restrictions on who can marry whom are dropped.
"Angie and I will consider tying the knot when everyone else in the country who wants to be married is legally able," the 42-year-old actor reveals in Esquire magazine's October issue, on newsstands Sept. 19.
What, does he really think that opponents of gay marriage will change their minds when they find out that Brad and Angelina are sacrificing their own happiness in solidarity with gays? If so, his ego is bigger than I ever thought imaginable.
It's more likely that he and his woman prefer to stay unhitched, making it easier for them to go their separate ways the next time passion calls on the movie set.
In the interview excerpt, Brad also gives parenting advice:
"I try not to stifle them in any way," he says. "If it's not hurting anyone, I want them to be able to explore. Sometimes that means they're quite rambunctious."
Not stifling kids usually equals spoiled brats who end up like Paris Hilton. Good luck when these kids get older, Brad and Angelina!

Putting off their own happiness
for the greater good

I wonder if they realize that family law is an area reserved for the state governments, and that they are waiting not on the Congress, but on 50 separate state legislatures.

Or a judge and a Supreme Court decision of the same legal caliber of Roe.

I want to know if they feel it should be okay for a 13 year-old girl to marry a 35 year-old guy? If the two really want to get married, and the only thing stopping them are laws, then Brad and Angie are doing the right thing.

What pure, unadulterated horse puckey! Heaven protect us from "Hollywood Intellectuals" - an oxymoron if ever I wrote one!
