More of this "My Truth" business

I love how people on the left like to silence critics by having books banned or pulled from public consumption:

A furious Bill Clinton is warning ABC that its mini-series "The Path to 9/11" grossly misrepresents his pursuit of Osama bin Laden - and he is demanding the network "pull the drama" if changes aren't made.

This was the best part:

The letter, written by Bruce Lindsey, head of the Clinton Foundation, and Douglas Bond, a top lawyer in Clinton's office, accuses the ABC drama of "bias" and a "fictitious rewriting of history that will be misinterpreted by millions of Americans."

Well, isn't that the pot calling the kettle a black bitch!

I don't remember such demands by President Bush (or even most Republicans) regarding Fahrenheit 9/11--which was certainly fictitious, using fabricated headlines and editing so that millions of Americans would misinterpret history. Could you imagine the outrage and media frenzy if President Bush wrote a letter to Moore?

The media would whoop up hysteria with questions about what Bush might be trying to hide and such.

The real and plain difference here is that Michael Moore, the Democrats and their media accomplices, and Hollywood said that F 9/11 was a documentary. ABC simply says that this movie is based on the 9/11 commission's report and certain scenes were dramatized and that some characters were merged. Does this change the underlying theme that Clinton was offered bin Laden and passed?

Clinton likes to forget he was caught on tape making this admission.

And are we really concerned about the boo hooing by Sandy Burger over this? A man who admitted to stealing documents from the National Archives (in his pants and socks)? (Of course, the press doesn't seem too concerned about what Sandy actually lifted, but that is another story.) Fact: The Clinton Administration was offered bin Ladin on a silver platter and turned him down. Period. Their failure to see the big picture cost Americans dearly a few years later. If Clinton has a problem with his legacy, it's a problem he'll have to live with like the rest of us.
