Where Are Our Liberals?

Where did all our liberal commentors go? Have the news this week of a roaring economy and Bush putting the Dems back on their heels over Iraq?

I thought the liberals had 2006 and 2008 all wrapped up: Quagmire! Hooverville! Culture of Corruption and Cronyism! Chimpy McBushitler!

Its hard for chimp boy to put anybody back on their heels when 55% of America thinks he is lying when he says that that he has a plan to get out of Iraq. Its becoming the norm for he and his supporters to delude themselves into thinking the applause are not just coming from their side. The middle has swung away to the left when you guys were busy congratulating yourselves are your mandate. Like the national budget, the poltical captial has been spent, and there is now a nice deficit that can't be wished away.

Roaring economies are not defined by one or two Christmas shopping days especially when those respresent bargin pricing. Economic effects of the major hurricanes alone are going to make their mark along with high petroleum prices. I wish that it weren't so but we are all going to be feeling the economic pain.

Sounds like the anti-depressants are working pretty good there, Aaron.

Did you see the graph I've posted below? Did you read that the GDP growth for the quarter was 4.3%??? And that's WITH THE HURRICANES!

What I see is blinders on the left. You quote 55% that say they were lied to about Iraq. But you don't argue the fact that Bush didn't lie, but thats what the left and the media are touting.

Your reality is based on polling rather than the facts on the ground. That is what makes me happy; the anti-depressants simply help me sleep at night with people like you around in the world.

Your consistent partisan cheerleading has become boring, Aaron.

Ah TJ,

Another insightful post from you. Full of examples, fisking, sources and clearly thought out responses and counter arguments.

You have no idea how I look forward to your posts.
