Thanksgiving Thoughts (11/23/05)

What do you have to be thankful for during this year's Thanksgiving Day? In her column "The Thankful Tree" Michelle Malkin gives thanks for members of the American military, especially for 5 American soldiers who died in the line of duty.

And speaking of Michelle . . . already there are people providing enough material for Michelle to write a sequel to her book Unhinged: Exposing Liberals Gone Wild.

Among such people is John Daly, who recently resigned from his teaching position at Warren County (NJ) Community College (Click here for the story). Daly resigned before the college's board of trustees could fire him for harrassing one of the college's students via e-mail. Mike Adams has republished the e-mail that Daly sent to the student. In the e-mail, Daly wrote the following:

Real freedom will come when soldiers in Iraq turn their guns on their superiors and fight for just causes and for people's needs.

Daly is referring to the American soldiers currently stationed in Iraq.

Getting back to things to be thankful for . . . this Thanksgiving the Dodo is thankful for the birth of his son Dawson, who will turn 5 on Thanksgiving Day.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!
