Questions for Cindy Sheehan

Michelle Malkin is keeping track of the Cindy Sheehan circus. The Dodo wishes that Ms. Malkin could ask Mrs. Sheehan the following questions:

#1 Mrs. Sheehan, the U.S. military is an all-volunteer organization. So who forced your son to enter the military?

#2 Mrs. Sheehan, the job of the U.S. military is to enter harm's way. Did you object to your son performing the job of the military?

#3 Mrs. Sheehan, the reason that the U.S. military went to Iraq is summarized in the congressional resolution authorizing military action in Iraq. Have you read the congressional resolution?

#4 Mrs. Sheehan, President Bush didn't send the U.S. military to Iraq until Congress authorized him to do so. So why aren't you demanding that Congress explain its authorization?

#5 Mrs. Sheehan, the decision to send the U.S. military into Iraq was based on information provided by the CIA. So why aren't you protesting the work of the CIA?

#6 Mrs. Sheehan, you met with President Bush in 2004. So why didn't you ask him then what you want to ask him now?

#7 Mrs. Sheehan, the people of Iraq believe that your son died for a worthy cause. Why don't you?

Don't hold your breath while waiting for Cindy Sheehan to answer these questions.

#1 Stupid question
#2 valid question, but not really to the point of all of this

#3 The congressional resolution is just as wrong as the president...nice try, though

#4 That's a very good point - everyone in congress who voted for the resolution should be held accountable. Every. One.

#6 Not true - this administration decided to go to war long before they got into office...everyone knows it, not enough people care

#7 You don't know that, one way or the other. Stop putting words in people's mouths.

Well, you weren't wrong on all 7!

TJ, there is an Iraqi national that traveled to Crawford that is saying her son is a hero. She was on TV last night.

Oh, I see - it wasn't the 'iraqi people', it was _an_ iraqi - I thank you for your clarification...perhaps you could update #7 to reflect that corrected information

Waitaminute - never mind that one can both be a hero and die for an unworthy cause.

So, you've now completely disproved #7.

Thanks.

#7 is so pathetic, it just screams for correction - "why don't you?"

That's exactly about what she's protesting. If you don't get that, there's no help for you.
