Ankle Biting Pundits Want You to Donate

We LOVE ABP! Pat and I even guest blogged for Eric while on vacation in Germany.

But I humbly ask why they would link and ask us to donate to the National Republican Senatorial Committee when the NRSC's featured senator is...(drumroll)...Lincoln Chafee.

Is this a bad joke? Don't waste a dime on this guy. The name "Lincoln" is misleading. He is a RINO and one of our worst enemies.

ABP is right to say we need to support our senators, but I would recommend saving your money and donate directly to campaigns in states where republicans and democrats are vulnerable (e.g. Montana, Nebraska, Florida, Oregon, Michigan, etc.).

Keep up the good work at ABP, but I shutter that any of my money would go to Chafee (or Snowe or Collins). We can afford to lose three or four senators in blue states to gain three or four from RED STATES! It's called consolidating power.

Again, ABP: WE LOVE YOU!

That way, the blue states could go even more in the red to the federal government, living of robbing the blue states.

I love the argument Paul; suddenly welfare is "robbing"?

As for Chafee, he may seem useless in the key battles. But as I pointed out awhile ago, his career rating from the American Conservative Union is about a 41. Not very conservative, but far better than his fellow senator from Rhode Island, (Jack Reid IIRC), whose rating is about 8.

Rhode Island may not be the most liberal state in the union, but it's in the top 3 or 4. So the fact that we have a RINO senator from RI is pure luck, and we should be happy to have him. Yeah, I grumble when he tacks left to save his seat, but he's much better than the idiot Democrat who will replace him if we don't provide support.
