Cheney 2008?

For all of his declarations to the contrary, could it be possible that Dick Cheney would consider running for president in 2008?

Bob Woodward thinks there's a possibility that Cheney might be a dark horse candidate.

It'll be interesting to see what happens in the next couple of years.

Personally, I'd love to see Condoleezza Rice take the plunge.

Maybe a Cheney/Rice ticket, so Condi can "learn the ropes" in case Cheney's health causes him to resign. They will also need someone waiting in the wings to succeed Condi as VP, should this happen.

If Cheney does run and leads the ticket, you know the Moonbats will be in full song about Halliburton. We need to remain calm and reply with factual info concerning what Halliburton is and what they ain't. Because we know the Lib/Leftists are not going to concern themselves with factual accuracy.

I doubt Cheney is electable. He isn't as charismatic as Bush and he isn't going to be able to mobilize the christian vote the Bush does. If Condi's on the ticket they loose a lot of the southern vote, too.
Too, bad. Of the three of them, I think Condoleeza Rice would make the better president.

I really would be surprised if he ran...although stranger things have happened! As I said before, I would love to see Ms. Rice run. I don't know enough about the Southern vote with her, but she would make a fabulous president. Things will start shaping up within the next couple of years, so it's all just speculation for now anyway.
