Terrorism in a Bid to Affect UK Election
I first heard about this as I sat on the train at 6:30 this morning, headed to my Manhattan office:
At 3:35 am New York time, two grenades went off outside of the British Consulate in New York City. No one was injured in the attack (thank goodness), but windows were shattered and a chunk of the planter where the altered grenades were placed blew off.
Coincidence? The blast occurred just as Britain began heading to the polls to elect (or re-elect) their Prime Minister and members of Parliament. Remember what happened in Spain. Of course, officials aren't commenting as to the possible reasonings behind the explosion, but you'd have to be living under a rock for the last five years not to make the connection.
I hope British citizens vote their conscience, and don't take into consideration this cowardly act of violence.
Michelle Malkin has quite a bit about it here.
