Two Black Labs Victims of Police Raid on Mayor’s House
This is an absolute tragedy; my mother called me this morning having received a call from one of her best friends all the way in Maine who hear about this. According to the victims in the Baltimore Sun, the dogs were needlessly shot.
I caution, however, that while we all love animals and these dogs were obviously innocent of DRUG TRAFFICKING(!), that it could also be true that the police officers were attacked. I noticed that the dogs did have muzzles on in one picture. However, if this was a couple of cops who just wanted to shoot something because they were taking out a "mayor" then the should be fired and fined.
Can you believe that this was all about mistaken identity??? Identity theft! A significant amount of drugs were involved and I do know that from watching Dallas SWAT and other police shows that when they enter a drug dealers house, they expect attack dogs and for the dealers to be armed. But this was no crack-house and these dogs were no pit bulls foaming at the mouth.
The Sun goes on to state that:
Yet neither county Police Chief Melvin C. High nor Sheriff Michael A. Jackson have apologized to him, his wife or her mother, Georgia Porter, for the raid that traumatized the family and killed their black Labrador retrievers, Payton and Chase.
Thursday, Calvo called on the U.S. Justice Department's civil rights division to investigate the raid and other similar actions by Prince George's law enforcement. He said officers burst into his house without knocking or announcing themselves, in violation of the warrant they had.
I only beg that Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and the Golden Child Obama don't say something stupid like "they shot the dogs because they were black."
HUNTSVILLE — An illegal immigrant from Honduras who claimed his treaty rights were violated when he was arrested for a robbery-murder near Dallas has been executed.
Ding Dong The Illegal's Dead!
A victory for sovereignty.
Two precious teenagers, one 16 and one 14 were raped, tortured and then murdered by strangulation (so hard the belt snapped) so they used shoe laces and then just took to jumping up and down on the girls throats until dead.
Adios, Amigo! Fuck the UN (and the White House) - Texas won for us all.
You come here and murder our precious babies and little girls with your evil and you will pay and justice will be done.
[yes, not all illegal immigrants are murdering, maniacal rapists of children; they are just all criminals for breaking the law and subsequently committing untold acts of identity theft and wire fraud].
It's funny how she takes Obama's plan: phantom future technologies and just a portion of the GOP plan then states her idea which is actually the GOP plan fully throated (pun intended).
I have a field action report from a fellow freeper:
Freepers were CL and myself. But we had about 20-25 there, a good turn out of young people. Young Republicans, Freedom Works (Nan Swift, Campaign Coord), American Prosperity, National Taxpayers Union and others. Mostly young and vocal. They brought a lot of signs and bumper stickers ( Its the supply stupid! www.gaspriceprotest.com John at www.thisainthell.us was there to report on it with pictures ect. The signs the Opps carried GOP (Grand Oil Party) I thought was pretty weak. The Opps were made up of many of the same ones we have been facing that want to Bring our Troops Home/End the war in Iraq. I kept checking the Freepers site to see who was going to be there. When I left the house I thought I might be the only one. It was a surprise to see all the young ones there. I brought the flag and borrowed one of their signs. There was press there and I think our side spokesman got our side out. Thanks for getting the info out. That's what it takes. No one org can do it all.
RK
Here is the message I received this morning from Moveon.org:
Bless her little heart; she is five years old and can already dial the phone. She confirms RK's account with the "Grand Oil Party" reference.
Ms. Veda Fields saved me $24,000 on the purchase of my first home. I believe most people would stop reading here and pick up the phone or go online to request Ms. Fields immediately but I still feel compelled to write more about this praiseworthy professional. Ms. Fields demonstrated why ZipRealty.com is the only place to go for a home buying and selling because I was going discontinue my relationship with Zip if she did not meet extremely high quality Zip promise its customers. Zip delivered as Veda surpassed all my expectations.
I call her Veda because I immediately felt I was working someone who was family and having all the trust that implies. Being a first time home buyer, I really needed someone with a motherly touch and she noticed that immediately and assumed that role professionally. She did not, however, bring me any of her famous cookies sold throughout the country (wink).
When Veda walks into a home, all her senses pop and she becomes aware of all the details (both good and bad) inside the home. She went through my inspection with me explaining every step along the way. Veda stayed in contact with me on almost a daily basis once we were under contract to answer any and all questions – correctly. Moreover, no voicemail message went unanswered by the end of the day.
Veda also made sure my interests remained the prime objective and pushed (successfully) for the seller to meet these requirements. She is very special, an asset to ZipRealty.com and a gem to any homebuyer lucky enough to be her client. So good was she, that I am scheduled for 60 hours of training this fall so that I may be a realtor myself. And who knows what the future the future will bring: I could be a coworker or competition. What is certain is that she will always be family to me with a special place in my heart as the one helped me attain the American Dream of home ownership.
Veda truly is a blessing; I hope anyone who reads this with any nascent, lingering doubt that Veda is not THE realtor of choice for the area refers back to my first sentence.

What the media will pick up on in the very accurate and superb advertisement is how it comes across as "Obama Almighty" like the "Bruce" and "Evan Almighty" films but also shows a man believing he is God's gift to the world. What they will miss is the very real concern of evangelicals of "Revelations" and eschatology in general - that Obama didn't part any seas, but that he may have risen from one. For our Hebrew audience, I am referring to the beast of Revelation. Upon further viewing, it also has a "charlatan" appeal to it like the televangelists who promise you everything if you just keep forking over all you own (campaign donations, then, ultimately, taxes).
Washington Gas and Congress - Nancy Pelosi should now Be Known as “Vote 213”
Got my first gas bill from Washington Gas for April and June: $535.00.
I don't wash my dishes with a high temp wash. I shower once a day. And I seldom bake. Oh, and I don't run the heater in the middle of summer.
But Washington Gas, the only natural gas provider wants me to pay a $335 deposit and $100 for April and $100 for June based February and March!
My monthly bill in the townhouse was $37.00 (on the annualized usage plan). The only difference between the two places is that I have a gas stove.
And now they want $335 "just in case" as a deposit because they've readjusted their credit scores UP from the credit crunch - not based on my past payment history. I could not be in the annualized program if I were not paying on time every time.
Now, by one vote - Nancy Pelosi's - nothing will be done. My electric bill was over $200 and I don't use any light in the house accept the CFL's I bought and my computer and microwave and refrigerator. What on earth could cost so much???
Well, it looks like I am screwed big time this month where my utilities will cost about $1,000.00. And this is after the IRS took my stimulus check away because they said that the $20k I paid in taxes last year wasn't enough; I owed them $900 more so instead of $600 dollars, I now owe the IRS $300 more for 2007.
Q. Have you considered other funding sources, say taxing emerging energy forms, for example, say a penny per kilowatt hour on wind energy?
A: Well, that's clean energy, and we want to drive down the cost of that, not raise it. We need to give them subsidies so they can start developing that. What we ought to tax is dirty energy, like coal and, to a lesser extent, natural gas.***
My Lord, dirty energy??? More like dirty underwear from all the bullshit this man spews.
My Promise!
I am going to get some of that housing bill money if its the last thing I do. And I encourage all tax payers and people who pay their mortgages on time to find the loophole and exploit it so that all the hangers on and ticks in society that take and take and do not pay into the system do not benefit whatsoever. They should lose their homes for their poor decisions and they should rent like I did for ten years.
It's time to stop being stuck up and to start taking all the money we can back from the government through their own socialist systems so that we can break it - SNAP! - and keep what we've earned.
Someone fetch John Galt and put him on my calendar next week.
***Factcheck.org used to be reliable, but they really do the fan dance on this one. He said he would tax dirty energy...segueing into something else doesn't erase what he said before.
* Date Rated: Jul 22, 2008 | Rel. Date: Jul 18, 2008 Whether intended or not, this movie is popular - even on a subconscious level - because Gotham is protected by a hated hero making the tough, barely legal and righteous calls needed to protect the city and get the "evil doers" This movie is an homage to W. And since Hollywood hates Bush, this is a refreshing movie minus the lectures; here we have a refreshing look at how COMPLICATED it is to fight terror when the populace is ready to throw you under the bus at any given moment. They needed a "fresh face" found in the new AG who offers the city "hope" and "change" but ultimately becomes powerless due to politics and ends up willing to do anything to gain peace at all costs - including giving up Batman. This movie is the best of the year and is a political thriller, comic fantasy and non-preachy fable in a tight, well acted and splendidly shot package. Enjoy. When you leave the theater contemplate why you feel safe and your biggest worry is the price of a gallon of gasoline.
...and humble Dark Knight post below exploded the comment field and gathered comment from near and a-far. Not commenting but -- it appears -- reading Aaron's writing was Andrew Klavan from the Wall Street Journal. Check out this piece from yesterday's corporate media king:
What Bush and Batman Have in Common
By ANDREW KLAVAN
July 25, 2008; Page A15
A cry for help goes out from a city beleaguered by violence and fear: A beam of light flashed into the night sky, the dark symbol of a bat projected onto the surface of the racing clouds . . .
Oh, wait a minute. That's not a bat, actually. In fact, when you trace the outline with your finger, it looks kind of like . . . a "W."
There seems to me no question that the Batman film "The Dark Knight," currently breaking every box office record in history, is at some level a paean of praise to the fortitude and moral courage that has been shown by George W. Bush in this time of terror and war. Like W, Batman is vilified and despised for confronting terrorists in the only terms they understand. Like W, Batman sometimes has to push the boundaries of civil rights to deal with an emergency, certain that he will re-establish those boundaries when the emergency is past.
And like W, Batman understands that there is no moral equivalence between a free society -- in which people sometimes make the wrong choices -- and a criminal sect bent on destruction. The former must be cherished even in its moments of folly; the latter must be hounded to the gates of Hell.
"The Dark Knight," then, is a conservative movie about the war on terror. And like another such film, last year's "300," "The Dark Knight" is making a fortune depicting the values and necessities that the Bush administration cannot seem to articulate for beans.
Don't the guys at the Wall Street Journal know how to cite their sources? I guess the concerns about a decline in journalistic standards from WSJ staff during the Rupert Murdoch takeover were well-founded.
Mr Klavan, we don't want fortune -- just fame. Next time, please credit Aaron, the PoMo Analyst (even if you didn't get the idea here)! You could place a note mentioning Aaron's impact on your work on your blog, your web page, or send out a notification to your audience via your mailling list. You might even put Lifelike Pundits on your recommended reading list (go through the ego line twice, Mr. Klavan?).
Anyway, I know you're very busy with all the ideas going through your head and obviously you just don't have time for little things in life.
I, on the other hand, have plenty of time for keeping the record straight.
It’s Official: Barack Obama Is too Great to Be just an American
He is a global citizen. Read his sermon from birthplace of every type of evil philosophy from the Inquisition of Spain to the Great Terror of France to Nazi Germany to Soviet Communism to Islamic Fascism.
America has no better partner than Europe.
Try Australia, Columbia, Japan, or Israel!
The man speaks as a fool. He gave an entire speech in Berlin without mentioning Kennedy or Reagan or Bush Sr. and somehow credits Germans for what we did and the lives that we lost to defeat them.
"Citizens of the World" is the phraseology of the little horn and contradicts the divine standards of nationalism prescribed by God in the creation of the nation of Israel.
I am an American governed by the US Constitution.
This man seeks to subvert this honor, duty and privilege to a world order where I am now directly responsible for people starving in far corners of the world and that the blessings of evangelism that come with giving and charity is erased because the government confiscates on behalf of the poor with the force of arms.
Christ's message of salvation need not be heard when the blessings God provides is taken from the faithful and given to the poor for being nothing but poor.
That man is god to cause drought and that his mission is to perfect the world are the words of the blasphemer.
This speech stands as a testament to evil by relinquishing personal and spiritual responsibility and freedom to the altar of international governance where Obama will use what is taken to purchase favor and worship the name of The Common Good.
Obama began his speech describing his struggle. My Struggle auf Deutsch ist Mein Kampf.
He is no antichrist or Hitler or Stalin or Mao or Castro or Hussein (well in name only), but he preaches their gospel for salvation: Of each according to their means; to each according to their needs...Karl Marx.
