Tancredo Review

I disagree with Pat, but I will have to say that I am convinced that Tancredo should retract the statement--only because he is a politician and should be more careful. I do not agree, however, that we should have a specific, precision response. It would need to come down like an anvle and shake up the Muslim world.
And its not about what the fanatics think...the Muslim world needs to be put on notice that they are responsible for the crap that comes out of their countries/culture. It is for the same reason that us blacks are responsible for what comes out of our culture when it spills over into other communities--and for the same reason southern whites were quietly responsible for the lynchings in the south by not doing anything to stop it. There is a culpability in watching and doing nothing.
Muslims think they can just get by saying, "well that's not what I believe."
And c'mon Pat, its not just the fanatics that seek the destruction of Israel (and along with it any symbols of Judaism or Christianity).
They need to get real serious real quick over there. Honestly, we should have done this from the beginning. No heavy wars--just say to the nations turn over all your fanatics--including the leaders--or we are gonna pop off a few nukes.
Of course I am being a little colorful, but something must be asserted in the Muslim community that simple condemnation of terrorist attacks is not enough. They need to have a stake in the outcome of this war--and if setting the stake as the existence of their holy places is what it takes to light a fire under their asses, so be it. But Malkin points to Jihad Watch's more sensible list of responses. But as I read through them, I only believe that they will cause the same backlash and result from the Muslim world.
Most important is that this is a discussion that needs to be had and articulated to our leaders beforehand, instead of when we become blind with rage once it does happen.

I agree with Aaron, somewhat.
I think we should consider evacuating Israel and the West Bank, Gaza, and the Golan Heights. Give the Jewish community a new Israel on one side of the United States, and the Palestinians a new homeland on the other side.
Then take the old "holy lands" and glass them over.
